Do
you ever wonder what music Talking Heads frontman David Byrne likes to listen
to? I know it keeps me awake at night! Well, now you can find out with streaming
David Byrne Radio!
FactCheck.org
is a nonpartisan, nonprofit, “consumer advocate” for voters
that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics.
They monitor the factual accuracy of what is said by major U.S. political
players in the form of TV ads, debates, speeches, interviews, and news releases.
in short they sift through the B.S. so you don’t have to.
The
Museum of Bad Album Covers is pure kitsch gold. Without a doubt the
most comprehensive collection of bad ideas, bad execution and very strange
fashion choices to be found on the internet. While your at it check out
the sites "Bad Music Radio" and relive the genius of Mr. T's smash
hit, "Treat Your Mother Right."
Swank
Signs is a website dedicated to celebrating and then mocking the absurdity
of street and warning signs from around the world. And who doesn't love
ridiculously and sometimes unintentionally suggestive street signs? No one.
Thats who.
Graffiti
Archaeology is a project devoted to the study of graffiti-covered walls
as they change over time. The core of the project is a timelapse collage,
made of photos of graffiti taken at the same location by many different
photographers over a span of several years. Most of the photos were taken
in San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles over a timespan from the late
1990's to the present.
Beautiful,
creepy and strange. What else can be said about 99
Rooms? This site is audio, animation, photography and graffiti-art fused
together to create a collection of unervingly desolate vinettes. Room 26
is our personal favorite.
